Our History
Our parents, Salvatore and Philomena Butera (Sam and Flo) immigrated from Italy and in 1955 opened Salvator’s Pizzeria in Blasdell, NY. They used family recipes that their parents taught them from the old country, and used only the finest and freshest of ingredients in all their food.
In 1956 they were one of the first “stands” to introduce pizza at the Erie County Fair in Hamburg NY. To this day Salvatore’s Pizza is serving you Pizza and Italian food at its location at the top of the avenue of flags!
I’m sure my parents would be glad to know that we are carrying on the fine tradition of our family recipes. It is with this humble pride and dedication that we continue to bring to you Salvatore’s Pizza.
As my Dad would say “... Fresh hot pizza right out of the oven, try a slice you’ll like it”™
